One idea sparked in my head… what about a once a quarterly/mid-yearly “Brainfooders IRL” in‑person meet‑up in London, maybe sponsored by talent partners.. to give the Rec Brainfood community a regular space to connect, swap ideas and recharge offline?
love it mate. I probably should do this more, but I am personally wary of the logistical cost of doing it. Maybe I should just get over myself and get it done. We need to connect more anyway, you and I Srini - especially need to get you Brainfood Live more!
yes indeed. Uberisation ultimately commodifies the worker and will no question reduce power of each individual worker. The counter balance is that if offers flexibility, so more workers will be able to contribute. The inaccurate term to use is 'democratisation' of workers - many more workers will be able to do some work - but each individual one will lack relative leverage.
