12. AI + CAREER PAGES

I recently spoke with a VP of one of the largest career site platform providers. They process around 3 million applications per year, and over the last three years average clicks before apply dropped from 6 to 2. That is not a UX tweak problem, it is a structural signal.

Classic career sites are reaching their limits. What is needed now is highly searchable surfaces, persona segmented content, growing remarketing activity, seamless and mobile first applications, plus end to end analytics and reporting.

Most large organisations cannot tick even half of these boxes. As a result, AI remains a promise on slides, while in reality they keep posting uniform job ads and become even more interchangeable than before.

Another packed and insightful edition. Thanks for curating such a wide-ranging view on the future of hiring and AI in talent strategy!

thank you Petar - glad you enjoyed. Truth this, today's world is providing no end of content, could easily have picked x 2 the volume of content to share!

Thanks for the link to the Recruiting Future interview with Bas on Recruiting Future. Some really interesting points in there about the pace of change in TA versus the pace of changing job seeker expectations
