"You know I do not understand this chart..."

:)

I know it's customary in England to have turkey or perhaps goose on Christmas Day, but strangely, this isn't the case in the US. We tend more towards beef or pork, lamb still remaining criminally unpopular here, for reasons unclear to me.

Indeed, Turkey for thanksgiving in US right? No need to double up at Xmas.

Lamb is unpopular most places, I think it is generally expense, expensive pound for pound. We need to get into mutton more - much cheaper, and great in curry!

I think most Americans just don't know it, so are reluctant to try it, which keeps markets from stocking it and off most restaurant menus.

do you not have kebabs over there?? Maybe not the best way to get into lamb but usually the first!

Had no idea there was a Recruiting Brainfood Slack. I’d love to join! Feels like Slack groups have gotten a lot of traction over the last year, not surprised by the poll result.

there is Matt, but I think I am going to leave it dormant - I think it will get a small slice of the community, not enough to make it really move. I will let you know if and when that changes!

Hi from Australia where we feasted on prawns, a watermelon and halloumi salad and cooked a chicken on the BBQ. We sat outside and drank white wine and then went to the beach….
